West Side - Possum Kingdom Lake The west side of Possum Kingdom Lake is closest to the town of Graham, a historical town built around a town square. This part of the lake is very relaxed and rural, with a mixture of homes and rental camps and cabins.
Residential properties on the west side vary from affordable to luxury estates. All properties on Possum Kingdom Lake's west side are BRA leasehold.
Most residential-type properties on PK Lake's west side are allowed boat docks, and many are in deep water.

The west side of Possum Kingdom Lake is accessed by State Road 1148, about 15 minutes from Graham. This side of the lake has some of the lake's best casual dining due to the full-time nature of so many residents.
Sandy Beach, a popular day use spot on the lake, is easily accessible by boat to west side residents, and the popular Hell's Gate is not far.

West side residents of Possum Kingdom Lake can enjoy close proximity to Graham, where the Graham Regional Medical Center is located. Graham is also home to a historic fort, an antique shopping district, grocery stores, movie theater, and other year-round businesses.
