BigFish Real Estate - Possum Kingdom Lake
BigFish Real Estate, LLC opened its doors on January 1, 2007 with four partners - Max Borden (Managing Broker), Sandy Thoma, Donna Camp and Jackie Fewell, each with a real estate or business background, or both. Max, Sandy, and Donna had previously worked in real estate at PK and knew there was a better way to do business. Jackie had been involved in a few successful start-ups prior to "retiring" at Possum Kingdom Lake and together they knew they had a winning combination for BigFish.
Today, the company has eight real estate agents: Max Borden, Sandy Thoma, Donna Camp, Mary Lou Palmros, Anna Koncak, Melanie Place, Terry Carey and the newest edition to the team, Andrea Hubbard. We're especially proud to be working with the the lake's two most seasoned agents - Mary Lou and Anna, who have been selling real estate at Possum Kingdom Lake for 40 and 17 years, respectively. Melanie keeps busy in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with our clients there.
Most people ask "How did you ever come up with that name? We love it!" Our answer is simple - people come to the lake to have fun and we want to remind people of that when they're shopping for their lake house. We wanted our name to remind people they were at the lake and for our name to be memorable and fun, so we scratched our collective heads and came up with BigFish! It makes us smile every time we say it and it makes our customers smile, too.
Now don't get us wrong - although our name and our agents sell fun, we have a serious side a mile long. Making a decision to buy an expensive lake property is one of the most important decisions you'll make and we understand that. Its a major investment and we take our job seriously. We know the lake inside and out and we'll help you understand the different neighborhoods and find the one that's just right for you and your family.
We'll carefully explain the difference between deeded and leasehold property. Our agents will give you a proper tour of the lake and will be patient with you as you return time and again during your search for a place at PK to call your own.
