Possum Kingdom Lake's Mardi Gras celebration is scheduled for March 6th. This year represents the 13th year and I don't know how it could get any better than it has been in the past, but somehow it always does. Once you attend one you'll try to make it every year. People drive from out of state to partake in the fun. The parade starts at 3:00 PM and the Shrimp Fest follows in the evening. Need more information? Just ask me.

This past weekend opened the 2010 Dallas Boat Show.
By all accounts, not only was attendance up (30% according to show management), but boat sales were brisk as well. Darrell Wilson, owner of The Slalom Shop on Lake Lewisville and Possum Kingdom, said sales were up considerably over last years first weekend and with the most qualified buyers they had seen in 5 years.
The agents at Big Fish Real Estate found this to be true also. The mood was positive, people were having fun, the aisles were packed on Saturday and interest in available lake properties was high.
Once again, the Big Fish booth was the place to be for cutting edge technology with the debut of the "PK Smart Tag". Come by the booth and see a whole new way for us to market your home, OR if you are…
