Apr 3 | Easter at PKEaster Bunny and all! Hunt for eggs, play games, face painting and refreshments. |
Apr 10 – 18 | Arte de los BrazosAward winning local artists. Art appreciation seminar. Recognizing Chuck DeHaan as the lifetime achievment artist. Open Saturday 10-4, Sunday 1-4 and Weekdays 2-4 at the PK Chamber of Commerce. |
May 8 | "Strut your Mutt" Dog ShowMutt or not, join in the silly fun! Contest categories include fattest, best trick and best kisser. |
Jul 3 | Fireworks at Hell's Gate!The most spectacular display of pyrotechnics in these parts is at Hell's Gate on Fourth of July! Watch by boat or by land from YMCA Camp Gracy Spruce (for a small admission fee). Get a FREE Kids Swim Safe super-cool life jacket from BigFish Real Estate and the PK Chamber of Commerce (but come early - these fun little life jackets are a hot item and we always run out!). |
Aug 7 | Pirates of PK Treasure HuntAhoy Matey! Grab thee a wench and head out to Possum Kingdom in search of treasures on the "high seas." A day of fun by boat or personal watercraft. Shiver me timbers! |
Oct 1 -2 | Possum Fest – The Great Outdoor BBQ & Chili Cook-OffThe official kick-off to Fall at Possum Kingdom, where we BBQ just for fun! Contests, dancing, live and silent auctions, and that just a little "taste" of what Possum Fest is all about. This is THE event of the year - right up there with the first good day of boating. |
Oct 30 | Halloween at Possum GulchThe PK Chamber's western town (built 'specially for Possum Fest, of course) turns into a ghost town for Halloween. Our "Truck or Treat" lane provides the community a safe way to gobble up the goodies. |
Nov 27 | PK Women's Club Tour of HomesEnjoy the holiday season at PK with the Holiday Tour of Homes. |
Dec 4 | Santa Clause Comes to Possum KingdomAll the way from the North Pole, Santa Claus makes an appearance at Possum Kingdom to help kick off the holiday season. |
